DELTA provides administrative support to a wide array of clients, including the U.S. Strategic Command's Enterprise- wide Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense. The Enterprise Solutions Steering Group (ESSG) provides leadership and direction for viable, affordable enterprise- wide solutions for the Department of Defense. DELTA supplies subject matter expertise and portfolio management support to the co-chairs of the steering group. This responsibility includes identifying network and information security gaps, procuring solutions, and implementing and integrating the solutions.

DELTA staff support the ESSG and its working groups by coordinating meetings, developing agendas, preparing minutes, tracking tasks, and working directly with the primary voting members. DELTA specialists coordinate with other agencies within the Department of Defense to gather feedback on the current technology solutions they are using and determine any changes required. The administrative support provided by DELTA helps to ensure institutional stability for critical Department of Defense programs.

In addition, the Department of Commerce sought out DELTA-provided support for new political appointees. The Under Secretary of Commerce personally requested that DELTA help with management assessment and analysis, policy development, planning and integration, Congressional coordination, and continuity of operations support.
