CASE STUDY DELTA has become a trusted partner of DISA, the information technology division of the Department of Defense. Utilizing the Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS) and other government data, DELTA experts identify and resolve conflicting or anomalous data to ensure consistency among the data. DELTA experts also analyze the status of funds and provide reports ont he planned, programmed, committed, obligated, and disbursed funding levels based on appropriation type, organizational element, project, and task area. Over the past 18 months, DELTA's team has processed 359 financial packages, assisting DISA in executing $208 million through the third quarter in 2008. This package processing rate represents a 15% increase in comparison with the previous year's performance. DELTA's team also helped to decrease the package rejection rate in the third quarter of 2008 by more than 40% compared with previous rejection rates.
